PrimersA good primer is the best preparation for the application of gloss paint or stain to wood. The primer prepares the substrate appropriately and reduces the absorbency of the entire surface to a uniform level. In so doing, it ensures good adhesion of the subsequent coating.
The choice of the right primer depends on the type of wood.
